We are contacting you on behalf of association “Forum Science” – the current leading science communication media in Bulgaria. „Forum Science“ holds the exclusive copyright over the Bulgarian popular science e- magazine “Bulgarska Nauka” ( www.nauka.bg ), which reaches over 200 000 people online per month of all ages, gender and interests, while 25 000 people are subscribed for its bulletin. Forum Science has a large network of communication connections among schools (more than 2000) and municipalities (over 200) and our media services are used by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science for promoting Operational Programmes. The purpose of our work is to bring science and society closer together, which is why we promote and support the work of different scientific organisations. Our overall aim is to give publicity and an impact platform to people doing science all over the world.

We consider your institution to be of great scientific and historical meaning and we are therefore contacting you with a proposal: to create a short movie for your university free of charge, which we would then popularize and distribute pro bono through all of our media channels. The work would consist of our team of one movie director and one camera operator visiting the premises of your institution to record movie frames and conduct previously arranged interviews, at a time convenient for you. 

The short movie itself would be in English language and it will be available for your use and distribution. We would provide you with all the useful material we acquire during the work process, such as text for articles, pictures or audio recordings which you could find useful for promoting your institution on websites, blogs, podcasts and social media. 

We would distribute the short movie on all of our media channels – the news website NAUKA.BG and our social channels on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn, where every month we reach to an audience of 200 000 people.

While we do not seek financial compensation for the creation and distribution of the video material, the only thing we would require is that the travel and accommodation expenses of our two-membered team be covered on your end for the duration of the work activities. The duration would be agreed on in advance, prior to the arrival of our team.

This kind of short promotional video would be a great chance to introduce your institution to the Bulgarian audience. The number of bulgarians choosing to pursue an education in a foreign country is on a rise and this would be an advantageous opportunity to showcase your institution to potential future applicants.
